I, too, am embarking on a journey to Get Off My Phone in 2026. It's a major "umbrella resolution" under which I've written several habits. I've deleted apps, grayscaled my phone, and am keeping a book basically sutured to my side at all times, for those moments I would normally quickly scroll.

Also planning to write even more (at the behest of my subscribers), and ultimately just idk look at the fuckin' sky more often?

Very curious how this shakes out! I agree with it in theory but have neither the tech prowess nor disposable income to buy blockers, and in my experience quitting substances any outside restrictions i impose may work in the short term but wont lead to real change. Been trying to be more mindful of reading when I wanna kill time on my phone as opposed to going to ig, tt, etc. it works sometimes, good luck my dude!
